on yesterday
Was out with Gen and Rita yesterday for the food trail recee for the rest were unable to turn up at the last min. =( Nonetheless, it was quite fun=0. Met at Mustafa to check out (the food that is) and took bus 21 in the wrong direction, thanx to ZG. So, we ended up almost near Whompoa Road and had took another bus in the opposite direction back to Geylang.
Oh and for all you sick minded twisted folks out there: I was at Geylang searching for good food alrights... But along the way, well... Of cuz, we met a few women with handbags, with nice make up and stuff waiting for some nudge nudge wink wink someting. The girls in my grp wanted to know of the "rates" so being the only guy there, they told me to look for 1 and ask for the 'price'. Of course, being the ZG everyone knows, I don't go for such things. So, we tried to evesdrop on other people's convo to search for our ans. Moreover, Gen said that we can't claim this kind of expenditure if I were to really go for it, though I thought it would come under "entertainment" expenses. =p
Back to the food... And yeah, we had found quite a few placs for nice Dim Sum and we took those into consideration. Before, heading down to our last stop at Bedok Corner for our quest on Malay food, we had a Chinese steamboat dinner at Geylang itself. =)
Boarding bus 13 from Geylang to Upper East Coast Terminal feels like going back to hell again.
By the time, we arrived at the terminal it was almost 11pm. So, Bedok corner was almost closed with only a few drinks store left... Then being the adventurous trio, the 3 of us attempted to walk to East Coast Park from there. This idea turned futile when the girls realised that a map in the park showed that they were barely half way there after walking for almost 20 min. Heh. So, we headed back to the bus stop and waited for our last bus patiently. =)
Reached home at 1am. Dead beat.
