data comms course @ Adelphi

Was on course for this entire week.

A very informative one. I learnt alot. How to configure Cisco routers, switches and the workings of the different protocols. The trainer was fantastic and delivered his content well and everyone in the training centre was so friendly.

Lunch and 2 tea break was catered for each day. It was an amazing experience man this week.

Don't know how I'm going to adjust back to life next week. It sure feels good to have a breather once a while. ;p

Heh.

On a side note, I wanna get CCNA. :)

Happy New Year!

I would say that the highlight of 2009 for me was the fact that my life as an undergraduate finally ended. The feeling is kinda surreal. It's like re-gaining my freedom after my last day in (read: hell).

Okay, not that exaggerating. But it's a transition from being a student to a working professional.

I remembered feeling very worried of not being able to wrap up my FYP in March and ended up working really late into the night at Fusionopolis, I2R. My daily routine would almost be like wake up, turn on comp, type report. Go I2R, discuss results of findings with supervisor and analyze.

When it was finally over, I really did heave a sigh of relief. Thereafter, studying for examinations seemed so much easier as compared to research.

Went on a holiday right after my exams and a week later, I started work.

Kinda worried that I might not be accustomed to work initially. SC and I started work on the same day and perhaps that helped when I wasn't the only clueless one around. From then on, everyone whom I met in the company is just so friendly and nice, including my supervisor and colleagues whom I'm working with. Apparently, I do look forward to going to work each day.

About few weeks after Jevon left for France, I finally met the infamous Rain. Like his 师母, both can talk much nonsense and are FOS. The only difference is that one gobbles up the food, resulting in 'China' while the other (for no apparent reason) has a 'UN'. Okay, fine. Not so much of 'UN', but this 'UN' thing became a joke whenever Rayn snacks. Heh.

Alrights, shall end here now. Happy New Year peeps! And to those who have been listening to my whinings every now and then, thanks for lending a listening ear!

By the way, let me share a bit of a joy with everyone. I did quite well in my modules this semester. :)
