Always Look on the Bright Side of life
Was at St Regis and M hotel over the past one month. Had Yan Ting for dinner at St Regis. Sis and I clocked up to 140 bucks worth of food there. Stay at St Regis was quite good, considering that we could order Hot Chocolate/tea/coffee round the clock. The bath tub in the room also had a TV so I could soak in there and not miss my favourite shows. =) Went to the spa there. As a hotel guest, it was free. Quite relaxing if u ask me, cos it was so empty. There was jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, etc. Quite a good experience. Even the toiletries kit they use are is so high class. I checked the prices on the net and realised that a mini set is selling at $25 on ebay.
M hotel was not too bad too. Their semi buffet was good - we had to choose a main course and it woud come with complimentary buffet of other sides such as pasta, bread, soup, sushi, satay, salad, desserts, cakes and ice cream. I chose the Sirloin Steak to be medium well. Not a very big fan of steak considering the amount of fats they have in there, but it was nice and tender though. Unlike St Regis, their spa was not free hotel guests and all I did was use their gym and tiny pool. Overall, it was quite an experience. Would choose to go to Orchard Hotel the next time perhaps, or maybe Marina Bay Sands.
Was diagnosed with throat inflammation earlier this week. Somehow I suspect that it was partially due to the unlimited satays which I have eaten from the Semi buffet. heh. So recovering after consuming medicine dispensed from my family clinic. One of the funny medicine is the HyperChlorine drug which was meant to kill germs (I think). Had to garggle 5ml of this colourless and tasteless liquid and expel in a minute. Almost gagged and swallowed the entire thing when I smelt my breath through my nose. It was comparable to the public toilets when the cleaners put too much chlorine on the toilet floor. Basically, I would always have bad breath right after that dose of medicine. So, just yesterday, I bought some sweets to remove this horrible breath.

In a dilemma. The same question gets back to my head everyday. I thought I was quite confident of the answer but apparently I think I'm unsure now.
