price of ZG?

Finally, my first week of holidays! =) Heh. Had been staying out late these days.

Was at NUS on Friday late night about 1am and took pictures of myself lying on the road. Heh. My friend warned me of the campus security or even the security cameras themselves. But neh, shouldn't get busted over this.

Was at vivo the other day when I caught this in the Toys R'Us store which I frequent (cos I sort of deprived of many toys since young).

Realised that it's worth more than "Timothy Hay". =) But still... sheesh... And worse. ZG is featured as a toy. Can't help linking it to the word "play thing".

gotta rush off now, lest I'm late (again) for Tennis.

and gone with another chapter written

And with that, it came to a closure. With some departing for Beijing via Taiwan/HK tml and most going with the group departure on Friday morning. It started out on 17 May when I was to bring them around NUS for a lil' orientation thing and it continued with the group project in the second module before coming to a grand finale at the farewell lunch hosted at Prima Revolving Restaurant.

The memories of the insane fun and laughter that we shared. The antics which took place in class, the never-ending list of questions which were bombarded to our lecturers and current-working engineers in the industry and crazy incidents would leave indelible imprints clearly etched in my mind.

But, as an ol' friend of mine always say, "life goes on". It's time to move on with our lives and cherish this little bit of experience that makes living so much more fruitful.

Farewell my friends, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours and till I see ya again, do take care.

special sem (2 of 2)

5 weeks, 2 modules, 1 final exam. That concludes the entire NUS-GT special program first leg in Singapore. Today, the morning session of final examination wraps up the entire special semester for me. The paper was relateively manageable and I submitted the paper 1 hour after 1 hour into the examination.

A really cool paper for really cool students.

In the same afternoon, as we proceeded to engineering auditorium to board our bus to Asia Pacific Brewery, and when we saw the bus, all of us went something like

"WOAH!"

Why?

This is the bus that was chartered for slightly more than 20 students. I almost thought that I left my passport at home. Kinda exclusive when it drove thru the campus. Many pairs of eyes looked at us as though we were tourists of some sort. Even strangers stopped along the sidewalk to look at the unique bus.

Anyway, it was a good idea to have such a bus as it allows us to have this view from the top to tour Singapore on the way to the brewry. The bus made 2 rounds in Tuas estate before turning into the brewry. I assumed that they did so to show our US friends the Tuas region.

After exchanging our student cards for the security passes, we were brought around the place. And due to the fact that my camera was not properly charged the night before, I couldn't take much pictures. =( Anyway, we werent allowed to take pictures within the compounds. But there was this free-flow of beer in some pub-like setting, so I took a few glasses of different beer from Guiness Stout to Tiger to Henekien to the almost-taste-like-plain-water Kilkenny. The last one was not to my liking but well... it was chugged down anyway.

And do take a look at the following:

Till then, gonna go down to the farewell lunch at the Revolving Restaurant tml! =) And yuesh, i gotta charge my camera.

gamble with my hair

Everytime I step into a hair cut shop to cut my hair, it is almost like taking a gamble. This is because it really depends on how skilled the fella cutting your hair is. And unfortunately, my hair was sort of in a mess after today's cut. Not that bad, I think it should be ready when my hair grows back. (it had better be) And this stupid gal was bi*ching about the way I told her to cut my hair and still cut it till it becomes a MESS.

Whatever it is, I'm kinda pissed now. So better not ask me why I'm wearing a cap when you see me the next few days.

Shall keep this entry till either a girl compliments my hairstyle OR my hair grows back (whichever is earlier).

Stupid b*tch at EC cut.

visit to BTC by VIP(aka ME)

Juz back from BTC. Now at YIH computer cluster typing.

Heh. BTC certainly looks really new and nice and it has a really nice-looking gym too! It's emptiness could be due to the fact that it's the vacation period now and I don't remember NUS offering any special semester modules from the faculty of law. No wonder, the food court over there does not seem so packed during the lunch time when I went over. Didn't have time to snap pictures (as I rushed to catch the 12 noon shuttle back to KRC due to my afternoon lessons), but in short, it's a new campus with new studying rooms, new gyms, new cafeterias, new libraries, new LTs, new co-ops etc.

Why didn't engineering root there instead?

Alrights gotta snooze before my next lesson at 2pm.

1st week (of 2) into special sem

As I'm idling in the Science Library, an alien somewhere out there is crystalizing some stuff in the Chemistry lab.
-------------------------------
Had the first test on Quality Engineering today. A very cool module with very cool students (aka ME). Met many fun Americans and the lessons were very lively. I didn't know that I would expect such an element of fun and laughter in class, but it was absolutely a pleasant surprise alright...

And though it was 2 weeks for the module, it was fun nonetheless. =D

Singapore university students ought to have such fun. It helps to beat the complexity of modules anytime.

On a side note, the drater is returning this week. (ignore this part if you readers dun understand. U nv understand anyways...)
--------------------------------
The crystal should have formed and the alien should be ready by now.
